Hydrotherapy Suite
Our Reval Transcare hydrotherapy bath allows clients to relax in the peaceful surrounding of our specifically designed hydrotherapy suite.
Clients can enjoy the holistic benefits of hydrotherapy, aromatherapy and chromotherapy whilst using the bath. The hydrotherapy system is a wonderful natural method of helping to reduce aches, pains and stiff joints. Whether you need soft, caressing bubbles or a deep, invigorating massage - the choice is entirely yours.
The hydrotherapy bath is installed with its own aromatherapy system which allows the client to create unique essential oil mixes specific to the clients requirements which can be filtered into the bath.
Aromatherapy not only alleviates stress and improves mood but it also is a successful treatment for many minor disorders for which doctors cannot always find a gentle solution.
Aromatherapy stimulates the immune system, strengthens resistance to disease and helps to combat infections.
It aids digestion - eases constipation and abdominal spasm - and optimises the functioning of respiratory system - helps with coughs, tonsillitis, and sinusitis. It eases muscular aches and pains and promotes muscle relaxation and tone. By improving circulation and lymphatic drainage it helps to eliminate cellulite and toxins from the body. Aromatherapy can lower blood pressure, reduces stress level, will combat insomnia and other stress related disorders. It can alleviate tension headaches and helps to deal with different emotions, such as anxiety, mild depression, grief, etc. The transcare is also installed with lights to provide chromotherapy or colour light therapy to our clients.
The Transcare features a large side access door allowing easy access independently. It features a built in, moulded seat and reclining system to accommodate clients with poor trunk or postural control. The high back rest provides additional support and comfort to the client.. Its high low function allows the bath to be raised to a safe and comfortable height for our care staff and also allows wheel chair or commode users to side transfer safely. The Transcare incorporates, thermostatically mixed fresh water shower, auto disinfector and anti-scold prevention.
