Located on the sea front we provide 14 elegant living accommodation rooms for those who wish to maintain a more independent lifestyle. For those who require assistance, we also offer personal care as part of the weekly fee. Our hearfelt aim to support each guest with respect , freedom and dignity comes from years of experience running our sister home Hawthorn Court, in Tycoch, Swansea. Ocean living, in Mumbles overlooks the Swansea Bay with sweeping views. Sophistication and Style are the hallmarks fo the grand refurbishment whici has taken place this spring.
Mumbles Village is a vibrant exciting place to live and visit. Its full of interesting history. In March 1807, a horse drawn railroad carriage was converted for the purpose of carrying people along the sweeping perimeter of Swansea Bay. It regularly travelled between the dunes at Swansea and the oyster harvesting and fishing village of Mumbles.
Mumbles is a great place for a holiday. Weekly markets are held here. Its just on the edge of the Gower - the first UK area of outstanding natural beauty. Mumbles has numerous amenities and facilities. Ocean Living is just opposite Verdis, a well known land mark overlooking the Bay where people meet and chat over coffee and morning papers.
Each of the bedrooms at Ocean Living have been individually designed. Its aaccommodation has been set at five star status. Each room has an ensuite shower. It has wi fi internet access, staff call, TV and of course tea/coffee making facilities. We offer outstanding standards during your holiday stay with us The accommodation includes room service and a full cooked breakfast. There is a comfortable Lounge and Dining Area. The restaurant style services offers a choice of three daily well balanced meals with daily snacks and refreshments from the coffee bar area. There are free daily events and activities which all guests are welcome to join covering educational, religious, recreational and cultural topics. There is also free use of the internet Library and Visitor's Room.
Other services include access to the Treatment Room on the ground flor and the Spa Bath facility on the First Floor. The treatments available are- hairdressing, chiropody and optician services by appointment. Also body massages and beauty treatments. The front patio of Ocean Living offers splendid views across the Bay. Chairs and tables enable guests to enjoy an outdoor breakfast on the patio during sunny weather. A sun terrace to the rear also offers all day seating and relaxation.
